Naming Names

I just recieved news today that Con-man, Katelicious, Loricious, and Jammers are all coming down in Oct to visit. I cant wait to see them! It will be a lot of fun to show them around town.

Work at J47 has been very interesting. Almost everyday I see a physical fight take place in my classroom. It seems to be the norm here. A lot of teachers wont do anything to intervene except standby after they have called the security. The staff are petrified about getting fired or suspended because a student lies about how the teacher touched them.

I, on the other hand, cannot tolerate a child choking another child in front of me. I am not afraid to break up a fight. I will keep a paper trail to protect myself. Meanwhile, the ASL plans are going well. Confusing because kiddies are different subjects than college kids when it comes to behavior and attention spans. Heh.

My college courses have been entertaining. I have Rusty for three classes so its all in ASL while one course is being taught by a CODA from China. She is a very nice lady but she tells us way too much information about research. Ah who am I to complain, I get to day dream and think about all the future plans I want to start next summer. Grin. A HOUSE!

Anyway, back to being in NYC- it has been really a good start to the year. Im participating in events and asserting myself in forming friendships. Speaking of that, I definitley have to post more pictures soon that highlights the summer!

Meet our newest family addition, Trinity!

She will be joining Jada and Jami on Halloween weekend this year, by then she will be 8 weeks old. Here is a picture of her at 4 weeks. She is soooo cute! She also has a zillion of extra toes like her sister. Jada and Trinity share the same mother but come from a different liter.

Trinity was going to join me in NYC but Jami and I have noticed Jada being happiest when mingling with Lori’s (downstair neighbor (my friend) and landlord) cats, Gizmo, Sami, and Bud Bud. So Trinity will stay and play with Jada instead.

I realize that the picture is dark, she is a gray tiger with blue blue eyes. She is special because she is the runt of her liter, very smallllll! Like a dwarf. Hahah.
